On April 20, 2022, three YPJ fighters, Dilar Haleb, Kobanî and Ronahî Kobane, were martyred as a result of an attack by a Turkish drone on a vehicle in southern Kobanê. The targeted attack was the 29th drone strike carried out by the Turkish state in the autonomous region of North and East Syria in 2022.
