To Our People and The Public!
The hostile forces and enemies of freedom always try to crush the struggle for freedom of women and people by committing massacres. Therefore, each woman and all those who sacrificed their lives for the struggle of people’s freedom are targeted by these fascist forces. The Turkish occupation state has once again revealed to the entire world its hostility, in the most brutal way, towards oppressed women who do not accept subjugation and lead the struggle for freedom.

The massacre that took place in Paris in the person of Comrade Evin Goyi clearly demonstrates and proves this fact , because genocide is the identity of the Republic of Turkey from history to the present day.
Comrade Evin, as a revolutionary Kurdish woman, has sacrificed her entire life for the freedom of women and peoples. She worked hard for her country in all parts of Kurdistan. When ISIS attacked Rojava, she headed there to defend her people in Rojava. She carried out her patriotic duties towards her people with courage. People like Comrade Evin have waged a relentless struggle for the freedom of all peoples in all parts of Kurdistan. That’s why, she was targeted by Erdogan’s Fascist Regime.

As Women’s Defense Units (YPJ), we condemn this massacre. We also express our condolences to the families of the martyrs and wish full and speedy recovery to the injured. This massacre took place against the Kurdish people and all oppressed peoples in the person of comrade Evin, the artist Mir Perwer and the esteemed patriot Abdullah Kizil. Comrade Evin’s commitment to freedom is YPJ’s commitment to freedom, and we will escalate our struggle and preserve the legacy that Comrade Evin has left for us and follow in her footsteps. We also vow that there will be retaliation for the women who were killed by the authoritarian oppressive forces.
